About Bloom & Blossom Infant Formula

Bloom and Blossom Manufacturing Plant

Bloom and Blossom Infant Formula is produced in a state-of-the-art facility that is inspected by the Food and Drug Administration. Our facilities are located in Vermont and Ohio, U.S.A. Our dairy ingredients are sourced from leading dairy markets, including the United States, Canada, and New Zealand. Our local workforce comprises industry-leading molecular biologists, chemists, food scientists, nutritionists, engineers, regulatory experts, quality assurance specialists, and equipment operators who are passionate about developing and manufacturing world-class infant formula products for babies across the country.

Our infant formula facility is located in the northwest corner of the Green Mountain State, in close proximity to local dairy farms and beneficial natural resources. A team of 350 people is dedicated to providing safe, infant nutrition excellence that consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Social and Environmental Responsibility

Bloom & Blossom adheres to good manufacturing practices while keeping a close eye on our environmental impact. We have programs in place to monitor and conserve energy use, reduce waste from operations and offices, increase our recycling efforts and monitor water consumption.

Our sense of responsibility and commitment extends beyond our infant formula-manufacturing facility and processes. We have a long history of environmentally sound and efficient operations, safe and healthy working conditions, and active participation in the communities where we work. We believe this has contributed to our success and our promise:

No other infant formula brand cares more about delivering a formula that is ideal for sensitive tummies. This means fewer fussy feedings and more potential bonding time with baby.

We have an obligation to practice ecologically responsible manufacturing. We also recognize that safety and health are personal as well as job-related. Personal wellness programs are available for all employees. These programs typically include:

  • Monthly wellness events and medical exams on health risks such as skin cancer, breast cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes
  • Periodic presentations on topics such as nutrition, ergonomics, smoking cessation and dieting designed to raise awareness and encourage healthy lifestyles
  • A special program supports our employees' ability to lead active lifestyles through lectures on fitness, activity tracking, and individual counseling sessions on subjects such as weight problems, body fat percentage and blood pressure.

At Bloom & Blossom, we strive to have a positive impact in the communities in which we operate in many ways, including our charitable donations, volunteering, and support of local businesses.

Our employees donate considerable time and effort to community organizations and initiatives. Our employees take pride in working for a company that cares about being a good corporate citizen and gives back to our communities.

Our charitable foundation focuses its funding on healthcare and education programs. Additionally, the foundation provides college scholarships for the children of employees as well as grants and scholarships to school districts where we operate.

A Green Mind

Bloom & Blossom thinks with a green mind while focusing on infant nutrition

Bloom & Blossom thinks with a green mind while focusing on infant nutrition. From a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant to modern recycling practices, we help babies thrive with complete nutrition and the tiniest ecological footprint possible.

Our plant treats nearly 100,000 gallons of wastewater every day. The organic and nutrient removal efficiency is approximately 99.5 percent. This means the water that is released into nearby Lake Arrowhead is actually cleaner than the natural lake water. Additionally, waste bacterial mud generated from the water treatment process is dried and used as a highly effective organic fertilizer.

When it comes to recycling, we use a green solid waste program, which entails collecting and recycling cardboard, metal cans, glass, and paper.
